It’s a novel concept. It needs to be. Email has to change.

More than twenty years ago, Seth Godin suggested digital stamps. Now it’s a good idea.

For many of us, email is barely usable. And for many more, it is part of an unhealthy and unsustainable lifestyle. A way of relating to communication and our own attention as an ever-diminishing resource.

Artificial Intelligence is about to obliterate our email inboxes. Inboxes already overstuffed, over-utilized, and over-emphasized. And many of us, already spending too much time checking and responding to every ping or deleting them by the hundreds will welcome an alternative.

Those with personal brands would hate it. Nonprofits, too. Businesses would pay it. But totally free email will need a lot more than a little spam filter.
