Make a New Normal
We’re heading home tomorrow from Sunset Beach. We have had a great time with family, even if the weather was cold and rainy. We had sun on the first day and it peeked out at the end.
We ate really well and the kids spent a lot of time outside, despite the rain. Mostly we laughed and played games and enjoyed being together.
Really, we don’t want to leave. But as we gathered at the beach tonight, we played easy.
My late mother was a real estate agent who sold several houses in Sunset Beach, Sunset Harbor and other parts of Brunswick County!
I can’t edit my comment, but I grew up about 30 min from there. My stepsister managed a high-end seafood restaurant in Ocean Isle Beach, which isn’t incredibly far from there.
