I’m not sure why we even call nursing in public “controversial” since it is so very normal. Yet, we still think that the issue is complicated, just ask these Moms feeding their kids (gasp!) in uniform. Oh, the horror!

We all know the root is about sex and sexualization of the female body. Which means you have the men who want to have a say over a woman’s body and you have the puritanical no-bare-skin brigade that must police the world, just in case someone catches a glimpse of a bare nip! Not to mention the guilt-inducing Moms who want other Moms to endure the indignities they did.

Seriously, this is what parenting is about: giving your child what she needs. Save your outrage for something that matters.
