Mark 1:21-28

  • A recurring theme in the gospels is that people are astounded and amazed by Jesus. How many Christians actually are?

  • This week’s gospel can be read shallow or deep. But if we go deeper, will we like what we find? About Jesus or ourselves?

  • Moving from the call stories to Jesus’s miraculous ministry might leave us with the wrong impression that this is normal.

  • Being a beacon of Christ doesn’t mean we need to be perfect. It means we still need to help others even when we feel lost.
