Luke 24:1-12
-
In gathering at night for the Great Vigil of Easter, we are able to embody the remembering of Holy Week with love and gratitude.
-
The empty tomb reveals both the joy and fear of new things: and our tendency to assume what our faith tells us not to.
-
The freeing nature of Easter is that we are allowed to change. We are allowed to get better. To become new.
-

-
In the resurrection story, we get an Easter image as confounding as it is hopeful.
