Luke 17:5-10

  • Jesus teaches his apostles about faith and commitment — because they are afraid they can’t keep up with his commands for them.

  • Jesus invites his disciples to look beyond the power, the expectations, and the culture to see what God is doing.

  • In this collection of sayings, the most obvious teaching is the mustard seed. But there are different ways to approach this.

  • Jesus offers several teachings that don’t seem related. But one thing that connects them is we don’t want to embody them.

  • The parable of the mustard seed is a treasured teaching we seem woefully unable to embody. At least we wish we could.

  • Lead with Love
