  • Partisanship may help us understand what is going on at the moment. But it doesn’t always help us know what to do.

  • In celebrating the Feast of the Holy Name, we are addressing, not that Jesus was named, but that his name matters.

  • We can rewire our brains toward good things. Or find ourselves rewired by what we experience. Words are powerful.

  • We love accuracy. But we’ll throw it in the trash when given the chance to emphasize something we think is important.

  • A headline can be technically true and be wrong. And sometimes it isn’t even accurate to say it is technically true.

  • Sinners

    The Bible frequently uses the word “sinner”. We often have a hard time noticing that Jesus has a problem with the term.
