    John the Baptist and Andrew offer a hopeful vision of faith, adaptation, and trust at a time of great change.

  • This week, we return to the baptism of Jesus. But we don’t stay there. We’ve got other things to deal with.

  • In the baptism of Jesus and the calling of Andrew as a disciples, we get a different view of active participation.

  • In John 1:29-42, we have an alternative call story–one that opens up the possibility that Jesus came to offer different leadership.
