Easter 7A

  • In the Sunday between the Ascension and Pentecost, we continue to focus on the thing that Jesus wants us to hear: it’s about relationship.

  • Living Grace

    Perhaps we avoid the Ascension, to keep Jesus present, in control. To avoid his command: that we love each other.

  • Pray Anyway

    In Easter 7A, we get another example of Jesus praying in public. We’re invited to observe so that we learn.

  • As Jesus wraps up the Farewell Discourse, he prays to God in confidence — secure in knowing this is how it goes.

  • Jesus continues preparing the disciples for his departure. With a dire warning of his own, and their coming persecution.
