As I wrote nearly two weeks ago, I’ve been playing in two different sandboxes and it is time to consolidate. I gave myself two weeks to decide and to encourage you all to continue to receive upcoming posts by signing up for my newsletter. This will assure you of making the transition with me.

I’ve decided. And I pretty much had decided before I even hit publish on that post. I’m moving to a self-hosted site. I truly am afraid to move this home, leaving this community. And yet, I’m eager to have more control and more opportunity on my own.

I’d love for you to join me. The site’s domain will remain the same (drewdowns.net), but not all subscribers will get included in the migration (though some will, thanks to JetPack!). The best way to make it through the migration is to fill out this simple form, and you will be here for the reboot.

And not to tease you too much, but I’ve got a couple of surprises that I am really looking forward to sharing in the next few weeks.
