I’ve spent much of my life searching for more from church.
More from the institution. More from myself.
I want church to be important and to mean something and it doesn’t always feel like it does.
When I first heard of Church of the Apostles years ago, I was certain from that moment that if I lived in Seattle, I would be a part of that church. No question. But this says way more than that. Listen closely.
For me, his statement at 0:40 says what I wish was true of every church; that it is:
“a cure for a lack of imagination”
Christians are dreamers. Without imagination, what are we?
